After a long career with Fortune 500 companies like FMC, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, and Amway Corporation, City Cleaners' owner, Alex, and his wife, Sandy, opened their first dry cleaning business in New Jersey in 1990.
Today, at City Cleaners, we are pleased to offer our customers a 100% green, environmentally-safe cleaning process called GreenEarth. We are one of only 1,500 licensed dry cleaners world-wide licensed to use this cutting-edge technology.
As a retired chemist with a Master's degree in Chemistry from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Alex is well-versed on the chemicals, technologies, fabrics, and environmental regulations surrounding the dry cleaning industry. In fact, his depth of knowledge is a key factor in his decision to go green by becoming one of only 1,500 dry cleaners worldwide licensed to work with the GreenEarth Cleaning system.
